This is a very beautiful movie.
And, it was adopted nicely in Chinese version, just feel like this is real story happen in that war time.

Although, it would be nice to have a happy ending.
But this movie leaves it to the end with too much regretful feeling, although it is sad, but this keeps me keep thinking about this movie all the time.
There shall be someone take another happy ending, maybe I would feel a little happier when I finish the movie.

The Chinese version is making this woman in not so much miserable life than original novel.
Keep the dignity of woman and give woman the right to choose what they want to do with their life.

By heart decription of this woman, I could sense how important for her to have this man in her life.
She take care of this feeling nicely and precisely that her appearance to him, she cares.
She is not dare to close him actively.
All she do is waiting, waiting, waiting all the time.
Just hoping there would be a chance that he will start to notice her.

When she grows up, finally, he start to notice her.
By eye contacts, they met in a very romantic way that he catch her hands, in the mess of war parade.

She already fall down in the wall of heart protection, he could get her as long as he wants.
She feels like live in the dream, the dream that she never expect would become real.
She is very scare to feel heart broken.
But he still forget her once he is back, even he was firmly promised her.

Later, she didn't catch him, or beg him come back.
She keeps her dignity and expecting one day he will notice her again.
Again, he breaks her heart again.
Just like she is just another girl he have been with.
He is careless about the love, unlike woman always remember the nice detials that he gave her.

I feel bad she is a Coward that she is not dare to pursue her love.
So both of them have regret before they die.
Life is short, she should try any possibility she can, at least she need to try to tell him how important he is for her, after so many years.

The best of this movie is 徐静蕾.
She is director, screenwriter, and actress.

姜　文 is the best, he is so charming since the first time I saw him. :)

This is a great movie.
