星期五晚上，臉書的朋友開始了關於台灣地震的更新，那時剛好台灣凌晨4點。因為我來自台南，我打電話給我媽，她接了電話，似乎還在睡覺，完全不知道發生甚麼事。所以我相信家人是安全的。每次看到地震的新聞都很傷心，那些人都是很無辜的，看到家鄉竟然這樣頭條。希望傷亡可以減至最低，特別現在是新年，應該是家人開心過新年的時間，不是一起傷心的時間。

On Friday evening, my Facebook got so many earthquake update from my friends. Because I'm from Tainan, I called to my mom, she is still sleeping and don't know why I called her. So it seems my family is ok. Really sad to see this kind of accident, especially from my hometown. Hope the death could be minimized as much as possible. Especially now is Chinese New Year, it shall be the time family reunion happy together, not crying together.
