As I'm originally from the most delicious city in Tainan of Taiwan, I was asked to answer questions about Tainan too many times that I decide to write one for my friends! CONFUCIAN TEMPLE 孔廟

Places:
1. TsaoChi Bookstore 草祭二手書店：It's a very cool secondhand bookstore!
2. Jhongyi Elementary School 忠義國小：It's just next to Confucian Temple, the most beautiful one in Tainan in my mind.
Food：
1. Jin Fu Specialist In Cookin Eel 進福炒鱔魚專家：Must eat, it makes my mouth water. Its official website.
2. Yuán Huán Dǐng Vegetable and Meat Rice Dumpling 圓環頂菜粽肉粽：It’s very classic taste and you can sense it’s made of traditional way, smell really nice!!
3. Lily Fruit Shop 莉莉水果冰：I rarely eat it, but it is very famous, must eat!!
4. Narrow Door Cafe 窄門咖啡館：It’s famous for its narrow entrance, because it’s really really narrow, and it’s great fun to take picture there.
5. FuJi Taiwanese Meatballs 福記肉圓：Nice classic taste!
6. Small Bean 小荳荳 Xiǎo Dòu Dòu：Very classic Tainan restaurant, since my kinder garden, always full of people, its delicious Pot Burn Noodles(鍋燒意麵) can be representative for Tainan!!
7. Bǎo Gē Tempura 保哥黑輪：Stirfried Instant Noodle(炒泡麵) is so creatively tasty!! I can be full easily by that.

BEI MENG ROAD 北門路, NEAR TAINAN TRAIN STATION

Real Red Cooked Spanish Mackerel 真正紅燒土魠 Zhēn Zhèng Hóng Shāo Tǔ Tuō：It’s a taste from my childhood; its Deepfried Spanish Mackerel without noodle is already tasty!!
Tainan City Marinade 府城滷味 Fǔ Chéng Marinade：Delicious Braised Food (滷味) and its Pot Burn Noodles(鍋燒意麵) is nice also.
Tài Yáng Pái Ice Cream 太陽牌冰品：Must eat red bean with milk ice, it is made of traditional way, its neighbor sells shrimp meatball is also nice.
Bog Tea Shop 波哥泡沫紅茶專賣店(勝利店)：The most representative tea shop from Tainan for me, I like crystal milk tea and 小沙碧.
Shengli Breakfast 勝利早餐店: The most traditional breakfast in Tainan, its Leek Clay Oven Rolls (蔥燒餅) and egg pancake is my favorite.

NANMEN RING 南門圓環, NEAR TAINAN TRAIN STATION

PLACES：
1. Installation Art - Hai An Road 海安路-藝術造街：Must go! Blue Pint(藍晒圖) is really famous, you can lots of good photo there, just next to my favorite noodle. :P
2. Tainan Flower Night Market 花園夜市：Must go. The biggest night market in Tainan, cheaper than Shilin night market and more ebtertainment.
FOOD：
1. Dusiaoyue Danzih Noodles 度小月擔仔麵：The most representative and famous food of Tainan, but it’s too expensive for me, I rarely eat it.
2. Minsheng Road Yi Mian 民生路意麵：Definitely must eat!! The best Taiwan noodle in my heart or in my life!! :P I must eat it every time when I back to Tainan. :)
3. Martial Temple Pork Stuffed Meatballs 武廟前肉圓：Friends recommend it’s better than FuJi Taiwanese Meatballs 福記肉圓.

ANPING DISTRICT 安平區

1. 1. PLACES：

Tree House 樹屋：You can’t miss this pot, because tree is amazingly connected with the house.

1. 1. 1. Shihmen Elementary School 西門國小：Next to tree house, it is beautiful there.

Anping Old Street 安平老街：Must visit.
Tainan City Police Bureau, Anping Branch 台南市警察局安平派出所：It looks like only this one, you can borrow free bicycle there without leaving your certificate, very comfortable.

1. 1. FOOD：

Elate Pudding 依蕾特：Must buy or just taste its Pudding there, there are so many delicious flavor, no wonder it is Top 10 local specialty of Tainan City!!
Chou's Shrimp Roll 周氏蝦卷：Not bad, also a must eat place for tourists, but it’s ok for me, it looks like MacDonald.
Tong's Anping Tofu Pudding 同記安平豆花：Must eat itsTofu Pudding, it’s my favorite dessert; I buy it every time when I go back.
Yong Tai Sing Candied Fruits 永泰興蜜餞行：Not really try it, because it always got so many people there.

1. 1. 1. Lui's Flapjack and Fried Leek Dumplings 劉記韭菜盒子烙餅：Must eat!! Super delicious!! It sells Fried Leek Dumplings(韭菜盒) and Flapjack(烙餅).

Mao's Tofu Pudding 茂記安平豆花：Never try, but friends recommended its Black Tofu Pudding(黑豆花)
Inpo Pudding 銀波布丁：Friends recommended better than Elate Pudding.
Oyster Omelets 蚵仔煎：I don’t know which one is nice.

EAST DISTRICT 東區

PLACES：
1. Da-Don Night Market 大東夜市：Near my home, very lively.
FOOD：
1. Zhuo Shantou Fish Noodle 卓家汕頭魚麵意麵：Really make noodle of fish meat, super tasty!! And its fish dumpling is really nice.
2. Deepblue Cafe 深藍咖啡館：Friends recommended Napoleon Pastry.
